Need help with an upgrade!
i want to upgrade my computer and was looking towards an apple macbook, but im not quite sure exactly what i need in a laptop. i do a lot of editing movies, and some animation. its rediculous how long it takes my computer to render files right now. Im using a very slow computer and want to have a much faster one to speed up the whole editing proses. my bugget is about 1000 dollars, or a little bit more if i had to. Any ideas of what i should be looking for?? thanks

For video I would say a mac pro desktop or macbook pro laptop.
You might find that a cheaper macbook standard will do the job. Although I know they have a less powerful and capable video card.

I've bought a Macbook recently
it mainly depends on those movies you're editing. If you're dealing with 10 min long movies shot with a mobile or a camera, I think the bottom Macbook model will be enough for you. But if you are making more complex editin, then I would follow benno32's advice - MAcbook Pro or iMac Pro. |
