Newbi help
Hello guyz,
Do you guyz know how I can auto lanuch an application in Mac 10.3 like the windows startup folder so it auto starts when I login. How can I do this? Best Regards, Denis |

Open up System Preferences(Apple Menu > System Preferences...)
Click Accounts Find your account Select the tab that says "StartUp Items" Press the "+" to add the application you want to startup when you login |

Thanks that helped.
Also one more thing, I have a 60 GB HD thats external and I used it before with windows and now I wnat to move stuff to it on my apple and it wont let me, I need to format it Im guessing to an Apple OSX Partition how do I do this and what software would I use to do. It just says your not allowed to move files into here. please help. Best Regards, Brill |

Say goodbye to all the stuff on that harddrive. Don't format it.
If you have a Winbox, the easiest way to do this would be plug the HD into that, and network the two comps and then use Rendevous to get it (this will be on you mac; macs are very good at networking), and then just 'Share' the entire HD so it can be seen over the network. |

Otherwise, how can I make it only seen for the Apple, I dont really care about windows, I hooked up the HD to the apple and none of the documents could be seen none of the files the only music folders showed up I guess because they had music please advise on how to sort this out?

If you still have your Winbox I would network them, copy all the files to the mac via the windows, then reformat the HD using disk utility ( Applications/Utilites/Disk Utility )
1. Select the disk 2. Go to the Erase tab 3. Partition it and/or format the drive 4. Put all your files back on (the ones you moved earlier |
