Hi all,
I have given a disc of photos to a client that she can't access without automatically launching Photoshop on her Mac. They were scanned by me on an Epson as jpgs, then run through Photoshop (CS1) for touch-up and resaved as jpgs by me on my Mac. (OSX Tiger) Now I look under "get info" and see that they are all saved as "Photoshop Jpgs". this can be a big problem, as I intend to make a lot of discs for clients in the future. I don't want to have to tell them to use "Open with" every time they want to view a photo. I believe the problem has to do with the default program for opening jpgs, which I can't figure out how to change. The same thing is happening on my computer, but I need to open most jpgs in photoshop anyway. Can anyone help me? Judy E. |

well, this is a client-side thing. i am not aware of how to tell photoshop to save them without haveing it open it in phosotshop again ... i will look into it though ...
as of now, just for yourself (if you would wanna change the opening prefertences for any app actually) check out this preference pane http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCDefaultApp/ i love it and if you read some of the documentation, you will find out the logic behind what opens what kind of file .... |
