printing from mac through pc wirelessly

printing from mac through pc wirelessly

just convinced my father to mac in his pc world, but, while still using his pc, we are having printing problems.

Stats:
imac g5 500Ram
160 gg drive
20 inch screen
airport extreme card

using
Linksys wrt54gs
hp 5550 deskjet
running xp on the pc

we have- (on the mac)
1- downloaded latest drivers for hp on the mac
2- turned on printer sharing in system preferences
3- turned windows sharing
4- when selecting the printer set, we "turned on" smb (we read somewhere to try that)

Now we are stumped...the error says
"Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds... ERRR: Connection failed with error NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL

ANY HELP PLEEEEEZ!!!!
