Spyware/Adware for Mac?
I really like Spybot, but I don't think there is a version for Macs. Is there anything that comes close to it for Macs?

Moved from the Lounge.
My somewhat-but-not-really-educated guess (reading various articles about OS X but not having used it myself for a significant length of time) is that you don't need to worry about Spyware/Adware/Virii on Mac OS X as much as you do on Windows because of its permissions and user/administrator seperation (after all, the core part of it is Unix-based  ). Just don't install untrusted things as the administrator and any damage something can cause should be restricted to your home directory.

As Peter said, there aren't any major spyware programs for the Macs (so far). There is one anti-spyware program: MacScan, but I've never used it.
I've just spent the last 40 minutes or so checking out the better anti spyware sites and forums like SpywareWarrior, and SpywareGuide.com, and can't see any reports of Mac related infections.

Macs are about as spyware free as you can get, the ONLY things you can contract are cookies. And if youre using firefox, grab the cookieculler extension and sift through your cookies.
