SuperDrive Update continually starts on boot

A few days ago I ran an update, and one of them was a firmware update for (I think) my optical drive on my mac book. It required a couple reboots, and now that all the installation is finished, whenever I turn the computer on, the Super Drive Update 2.1 starts automatically and says "No Updateable Devices Found". I looked in the system preferences, but didn't find any start up options. How do I turn this off?

I had the same problem with my laptop.

To fix the problem I opened up system prefrences,
Clicked on Accounts.

Then in startup items, I removed the superdrive application from the list.

Excellence!

I would have never thought to think of looking in the accounts administration thing. Took off that (and the Boinc manager, not installed anymore!) and rebooted with success. Thanks a bunch!
