Triple-booting Windows-Linux-Mac
Edit: Rats, it appears this is actually illegal. Stupid Mac EULA... nevermind...
Hey everybody,
I am wondering if any of you have advice for the best way of going about installing a version of the Mac operating system on my Dell laptop, considering that I already have Windows and Linux (SuSE) in a dual-boot environment, and an Intel Pentium 4-M processor (which I think is x86?)...
I've looked at the Mac store and it looks like OS X Tiger is only for PPC processors. Is there a way to get it to run on my processor?
The reason I am doing this is that I really want to test a website I am developing on Mac browsers, like Safari and IE on Mac, but I can't afford to buy a new Mac system (nor do I really want to, since I use this one computer for everything).
Also, would the Mac installer be able to partition my drive for me automatically? I only want to use a little bit of space for OS X because it is just for testing.
Thanks!
Stephen

yes you can run mac on a normal PC but you will need a hacked iso and hardware is not greatly supported and the installer can be very picky on what it likes and does not like i have sucessfully installed installed it on a AMD 64 3000 with a radeon 128mb graphics card onto a 8gig (old xbox hard drive) and got it to run. i am now trying to get it to multi-boot with windows, linux there are a few hacked iso's i used "<link to illegal file removed> i would recommend doing a bit more of a google search for, if you want to contact me use my AIM "chiefdestroyer" and i can give you more help

Reason: link to illegal file removed.
