Exclamation USB Low Power Notice...

USB Low Power Notice... I am having an issue adding any device to my USB D-link 2.0 hub. The hub is plugged on to a wall power supply, and it does not matter what device I try adding, it gives the same error (USB Low Power Notice). For example: My keyboard, scandisk, printer, scanner.

This happens both on a G4 and G5. I have also tried two completely new hubs on the machines but to no avail - same exact error. HELP!

Thanks much,
Bisesar.

Hi,

Do you have loads of usb devices connected ? try to unconnect everything and then just connect the D-link. if that is working then you are simply using all the power and you will need to give one (or more) external power.

You can also try shifting the usb devices around since they will drain the computer of power from two different hubs internally.

Sorry I dont have a quick fix for ya
