Accept Multiple Domains (Exchange)

I'm using Windows 2000 Advanced Server w/ Microsoft Exchange server 2000 Enterprise Edition.

I have my own domain setup (gto.dynu.com) and receive mail fine. Exchange is running on the Domain controller.

I recently setup several clients (www.chsweb.tk www.omniaphexx.com www.loreguardians.com and www.boatliftcoversusa.com) and i would like to let them use their same username but their own domain tagged on the end.

for example I'd wish admin@gto.dynu.com to also accept admin@omniaphexx.com, admin@loreguardians.com, etc.

I've tried setting up another email address in the user properties, a SMTP account for admin@omniaphexx.com, admin@gto.dynu.com being the primary but that doesnt work... i assume that only really works for setting up aliases for the same mailbox for example administrator@gto.dynu.com is the same box as admin@gto.dynu.com which is what i've had work in the past.

so i'm wondering where do i setup the domains that exchange is accepting. cant find anything in the SMTP server settings.

Ok I solved this myself, heres how.
In the Exchange System Manger.
Under Global Settings, and in Internet Message Format.
There is a list of domains, should have Default, I'm not sure it needed but if you want to change anything for each domain then you can add them here.

In order to have the server accept emails with a different @domain.com than your own under Recipient Polices. The properites of Default Policy, add the domain name for the respective service, most likely smtp.

So you will have a list of SMTP domains @domain.com and @others.com

Once this is set and you apply the changes it will ask if you want to update all accounts with the changes, making it so each user account for example admin@domain.com will then start accepting admin@others.com also

If you choose not too, which i did, then you can goto each user and added the email alias for only that account for example add the smtp alias admin@others.com.
