Apache+MySQL+Horde IMP

Hi,

I have a server with FreeBSD 4.9 Release installed.
I've installed Apache2.0 + PHP4 + HORDE (Framework) + IMP (Webbased mail program)

I would like to authenticate the users from my MySQL database when they login into IMP.

I don't know what script to change or to make.
If someone has a good tutorial or sample script please it's welcome.
