Automatic backup
i had configured sendmail server in enterprise red hat .
the user details in /home directory .I want to make a reguler backup for /home directory in writing a scripts.How to do that. so that automatic backup of /home should occur at certain time . |

Use PERL to write your script and schedule a CRON job (like scheduled tasks in Windows)...
it has been a while since I coded anything in PERL, but have done similiar mundane tasks this way...
