Hi Everyone,

Anyway, last time finally i've posted my message with sendmail.mc file. Now i'm pasting the contents of the file again.

dnl This is the sendmail macro config file. If you make changes to this file,
dnl you need the sendmail-cf rpm installed and then have to generate a
dnl new /etc/mail/sendmail.cf by running the following command:
dnl
dnl m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

I'm sorry for masking the IP address option of the DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, Name=MTA, M=a'). Originally, it is filled up with the IP address.

In the DAEMON_OPTIONS() entry, if i remove the M=a modifier then i could send and receive mails from external mails like yahoo or hotmail or anyother external mails. But i need SMTP authentication for outgoing mails. If i remove the M=a modifier, then i can receive external email too but sending mails without authentication (even without the passwords).

Can anyone let me know what change should i make on the sendmail.mc file so that i can receive external emails as well as i can send mails with SMTP authentication.

I apologize for the inconvenience (especially to alexgreg) that i couldnt specify the Mail Server's IP Address.

Thanks in Advance,
Raghu.
