Changing Password through Outlook/Eudora Client
I am ruuning a postfix mail server +POP3D/IMAP on a RH 8 box. Eudora and outlook act as clients on windows machines for users to send and recive mails on this box. One problem is - how do users change their email passwords ? Both eudora and outlook have a change password option but when a user tries to use it , he gets a 'Connection Refused' error !
Is it possible to do this in some way? If not how else can I give this functionality to the users ? Many thanks to anyone who can help. regards Sufi ![]() |

outlook & eudora can only change the passwords they use to try to connect to the server, to change the passwords you must do it on the server end
