Dumb Question but hey I am

I searched for acronym - nothing, so i am posting this.
As a noobie in the email thing, and having wandered into here for help, I read a lot of the posts and see things like MTA and MUA but they mean nothing to me ( till I googled them) so it gets really confusing for poor sods like me trying to make head or tail of it all, its ok for you techie types who know all this already, but help is what its about .. right, regardless of the askers technical level. So can anyone post a list of acronyms for people like me who may then follow the conversations/explanations far more enlightened.
If so Thanks guys, it would make my life and others a bit easier, hey you may not be answering so many silly questions like this either.

Well, you mentioned MUA and MTA, but you said you already know what they mean since you googled for them. Which ones do you need to know? Listing them all may be a little unrealistic.
