Email Monitoring For A Company - Linux

Hi,

We looking at running our own email server at work. We need a way to monitor all the workers email to make sure we paying them for work and not for them to email their girlfriend.

We will be send out notices for them to sign to agree that we will be monitoring their emails be fore we proceed with this action.

I am currently running a test mail server on Red Hat 9 with postfix and IMAP installed. I understand that by alias the user i will get the same mail as they do but I don't know of a way to monitor their out going mail. Anyone have any idea of doing this? If i can get a copy of all outgoing mail to a specify address it would be good

Thanks

-Quacka

The log files should tell you the from and to fields in the SMTP envelope for each email that goes through your system. The qmail log files certainly do this; I would imagine the Postfix logs do as well.
