    Enforcing Non-Relaying on Sendmail..

    Hi,
I understand that relaying by default is disabled on Sendmail 8.9 and up. We currently use the /etc/mail/access file to designate/limit relaying. Seems our server might still be allowing relaying despite designating only authorized ip addresses and domains in the access file. Can anyone provide any other useful methods to enforce non-relaying? Thx.

    What makes you suspect this?

According to the /var/log/mailog, there are several email relays from unknown ip addresses and domains.

It would be useful to see these log file entries, to verify that they are what you think they are.

In addition, if you send me your IP address in a private message, I can verify whether or not you are an open relay.
