Hi there,
i am new to microsoft exchange server. I have installed it on my machine but do not know where to start with. Can anyone guide me as to from where can i learn it's basics or tell me name of any site where i can find it's material or it's documentation.

Exchange Server is a particularly difficult product.

The first thing is to realize how Exchange integrates with Active Directory.



When you come to install, make sure you have the Enterprise version rather than the Standard edition.

When you install Exchange 2003 there are three stages

a) setup /forestprep

b) setup /domainprep

c) finally plain: setup

There are two reasons why you may want to install Exchange 2003 in stages, security and the time it takes to run the first full setup.
