"from" name in Sendmail
I finally have my sendmail running properly on my RH9 machine. I recieve email sent using the mail() function from a PHP form.
However, it says that the email is from Apache and that the sending email address is apache@localhost.localdomain. I can't find where to change this. I know it's a silly question, but I would appreciate any help you might have to offer. Thanks in advance for your time.

Do you have superuser access on this server ? then change your php.ini file to make a 'global change for mail sending option'.
Have a look at: http://www.php.net/mail A lot of resource for you ! ~ Ahamed Bauani http://www.bauani.org/ |
