Hmailserver / wamp
I'm not very experienced with setting up a mail server or WAMP. WAMP is successfully running and I've installed hmailserver successfully and configured it to mysql.
I followed the instructions on the website and I'm at this point: "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini or custom "From:" header missing in C:\html\fba\includes\contactx.php on line 14 The live version works fine.. so I'm guessing its not the php code. Looking at my php.ini file I've got: [mail function] ; For Win32 only. localhost smtp_port = 25 ; For Win32 only. sendmail_from = localhost ; For Unix only. You may supply arguments as well (default: "sendmail -t -i"). ;sendmail_path = I'm not exactly sure what to put in those areas.. couldn't find anything either

just as you said, when i tried logging to my mail from localhost, it did not log me in, but when i used a live server it worked fine.
this is the error i got ERROR Error connecting to IMAP server: chidi.local. 87095576 : what is wrong
