Dear AdnanHashmi

Let me know something about your network. How you are connected with Internet? I routable IP from ISP on server and server is running winget, right ? And all other client PC is running with private block IP address, like 192.168.x.x or 172.16.x.x.

If your network is like this, As per I can understand, problem with your winget configuration, not in your client pc's outlook express software.

Winget server is not running any "NAT" connection, so you have to proxy your winget server to collect POP3 mail from outside. I haven't work with winget for a while, only remmember that you need to enable POP3 service and smtp service on winget server and in your client outlook express, you have to setup like this:

POP3 Server = user#your-pop-server@your-winget-server-ip
Smtp = your-winget-server-ip

Checkout POP3 configuration of your winget help section, I am sure you will find the actual solution..

Let me know the result..

Thanks

Dear Mr Ahamed Bauani
Thanks for your reply & suggestion about my problem, you are correct thinking about my networking configuration, but still my problem persists
When we set our pop server as "adnan#mail.aei-co.com@192.168.0.1", outlook express message popup is check your pop name. i m insists for this pop and press send/ receive button the error message is below
"The host 'adnan#mail.aei-co.com@192..168.0.1' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'adnan', Server: 'adnan#mail.aei-co.com@192..168.0.1', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D"

setting with smtp server "192.168.0.1" mail sending is ok.
i m check my mail through web based system of mail.aei-co.com on same client is ok.

Seems that Dump Outlook Express cann't ACCEPT "#" on username, you may need to move to other email client like eudora or mozilla from http://www.mozilla.org. I am not sure about mozilla if it's can support '#' on username, but why not give a try....

My personal advice not to use "Outlook Express" as your Internet Email Client, it will open door to outside world to have access to your PC via email :P

One more thing, have you read the helpfile for wingate ? is it the right way to chk POP mail by putting '#' sign with username ?

Let me know the result..

Thanks
