How does CDONTS work
I am having a problem on one of our server and have identified that the smtp server connection sometimes doesnt connect therefore leaving me with bad mail.
The email task is setup in sql server as a DTS object and uses vbscript using CDONTS object however having googled still cant seem to find a good desc on how CDONTS works. Does it use IIS's smtp server and if it does can i route the smart host in IIS to another one for it to work.
