IMAP & POP3 server newbe.
Hi,
I am running REDHAT linux 9.0 with sendmail latest. sendmail work sfine.
Do I have to install IMAP server OR POP3 server separatly on the same server machine so that LAN/remote users will acces to the server and fetch mails from their account?

Yes. Though, they maybe installed already. Check to see if pop3d and imapd are installed.

Ya,
IMAP and POP3 servers are installed with REDHAT linux 9.0.
Can you please guide me to some site/docs with which i can use Outlook express on client to connect to sendmail/IMAP server. It should allowm user to use both PLAIN text and encrypted login and pasword with sasl.
