Question Ip Address Changes

My server runs Microsoft Small Business Server with NT 4.0.

I have five PCs attached to the server via Ethernet. If I try and connect to my e-mail account (mail.btinternet.com) using one of the PCs and Outlook Express the IP address is remains correct, but if I try and connect using the Server and Outlook Express or Small Business Server the Server changes the IP address while it's dialling to an IP address that used to be used by mail.btinternet.com but no longer is.

What's happening?
