Hi there,

I have setup email forwarding so that any emails going to myname@domain.com also go to myname@aol.com. I can send email from myname@domain.com and it gets to myname@aol.com. However, when i try to reply to that email when logged into my AOL email address, i get the following error message:-

<myname@domain.com>: host domain.com[98.324.56.120]
said: 550 relay not permitted (in reply to RCPT TO command)
In the example above, the IP is made up. I have noticed in some of our other domains that employ email forwarding, there is a TXT record set to (that is not present on the domain im having issues with):-

v=spf1 a mx a:mailforwards.extendcp.co.uk ~all
Does this TXT record need to be used in order for forwarding to work?
