Merging an Exchange Mailbox and a .PST file

Does anyone know if it's possible (and if so, how) to merge a Microsoft Exchange 2003 mailbox with a local .PST file?

To clarify:
Merge the emails, calendar items, and tasks in a .PST file with an Exchange mailbox so that no data is lost..

I'd open Outlook when it's configured to use the Exchange mailbox then go to File, Import and Export and import the PST file.

Excuse me while I go close my head in a door for not considering that.

And thanks for the help. I was thinking too big.
