MX Entry Help
Hi all, sorry if this isn't the right place to post, I don't know very much about this at all.
I have two websites and currently one site's mail service is down ("exim" I think). So what the hosting company has done is point the MX Entry of the one site to the other site which is working. But I don't know how the e-mail will come in. Will the mail server on the working server send the mail out normally or will it come to the "catch-all" email address of the working server. I really don't know what changing the MX entry on the one site will do to my mail or how I will be able check it with it all going to the working mail server. Any help would be appreciated. |

Don't warry, Your mail will now queued on working server. When your orginal server become UP, your current working mail server will send all queued mail to orginal server normally. You don't need to do anything, as your hosting provider change MX record for you, they will take care all the stuff
Have Fun~~ |
