My vpopmail's pop3d can't work!

I establish qmail-1.0.3 on the redhat7.0, It works very well. but after I make the vpopmail being compiled into qmail, the virtual users can't work. the detail on installing vpopmail is like this below:
1. use the user root to configure vpopmail with the option --enable-roaming-users=y and
2. make;make install-strip;
3. replace the item checkpassword in the file /var/qmail/service/qmail-pop3d/run with vpopmail's vchkpw;
4. vadddomain xyz.org ;(note: my mail server is mail.abc.com)
5. vadduser testmail@xyz.org ;
after these steps, I can correctly send email to testmail@xyz.org, it works good, but when I use pop3d service to receive email with the user testmail@xyz.org, the pop3d server warn me: unauthorized user.
i know maybe somewhere is wrong. which sir can point it out for me?
I don't know if vpopmail's vchkpw use the file /var/qmail/user/assign ?
