Smile Need Help with mail

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is a "daft" question but is it possible to have mails sent out on Outlook Express at home with another email "from" address other than my normal home email address ie. boltblue.com but say whatever.com. I am trying to set up so that I can respond back to customer emails, and have the mails from a business type account rather than my home personal one which I have set up to recieve all mails from the business account. Again apologies if this is really basic stuff, but if I don't ask, I will never know.

Regards

Flyboy80

First of all you'd need to get the pop3 & smtp server address from the admin who manages your business email account. Else if you know the settings, much better.

1. Start Outlook Express
2. Go to Tools > Accounts
3. In the window that appears, the top right has a button "Add", select Mail
4. Once you select Mail as mentioned in step 3 above, you will have to enter values as asked by the wizard. In this process the third screen that shows up will be "Email Server Names", there in the drop down select "POP3" and then enter the values for the POP3 and SMTP server (business email).
5. The next step enter your username and password.
6. You're done
7. Start receiving and sending messages to/from your business email account.
