Netscape E-mail

I have two issue.
1.All my old mail in my
Netscape 7.1 opens as Netscape browser. Any new mail that comes in is ok.
My inbox is marked as Netscape. Is there a way to change this or have I lost all my old mail.

2. Because of viruses I would like to save may inbox, sent, and trash on a folder on
my 'C' drive or desktop. Do you know how i could do this on Netscape 7.1?

I tried to copy my inbox to the desktop, but I was unable to open the e-mail.

I appreciate any help given
