pop3 not working on outlook XP
keep getting this error!!

task mail.domianname.com - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).


and when i try telnet it says could not open connection to the host, on port 110: connection failed


can anyone help please?

could it be the isp blocking the port 110, how do i check the port?

just went on a site called gnc and done a probing on 110 and got this
