pop3, postfix, courier, mysql

Im having problems getting my authentication working, i think it's something to do with the database but this is impossible. ANyone have some advice.

Basically i have my courier imap/pop3 configuration up and running perfectly (at least i think)

i can connect, but when i authenticate it fails. My backend database is up and running, all the fields are correct, database name is correct, user has all the permissions it needs. Both the port and socket are set. I just dont know now.

Anyone's help is greatly appreciated
