Qmail and 4.4.1 error

I have an odd problem here that I am going to simplify.

I have a Qmail/Linux server (eaw-lists.com) trying to send mail to a MS Exchange server (eaw.com) and outgoing mail fails with a "Sorry_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(4.4.1).

All other outgoing mail works fine, just sending to this 1 domain fails.

The truly odd part is this, I can telnet to the MS server and use SMTP commands to successfully send mail:

What is broken when mail from the command line fails but SMTP commands work?

What do your qmail log files say?

Maillog says:

"Sorry_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(4.4.1)."

On every outgoing message bound for a single domain.
