Qmail and 4.4.1 error
I have an odd problem here that I am going to simplify.
I have a Qmail/Linux server (eaw-lists.com) trying to send mail to a MS Exchange server (eaw.com) and outgoing mail fails with a "Sorry_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(4.4.1). All other outgoing mail works fine, just sending to this 1 domain fails. The truly odd part is this, I can telnet to the MS server and use SMTP commands to successfully send mail: [root@eaw-lists]# telnet mail.eaw.com 25 Trying 10.3.1.150... Connected to mail.eaw.com. Escape character is '^]'. 220 ****2******************************************************0*2************************2******200**** ********0*00 HELO mail.eaw-lists.com 250 WHTE2K.mackie.com Hello [12.38.109.23] MAIL FROM: <scorreia@eaw-lists.com> 250 2.1.0 scorreia@eaw-lists.com....Sender OK RCPT TO: <sean.correia@eaw.com> 250 2.1.5 sean.correia@eaw.com DATA 354 Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF> test from stevie . 250 2.6.0 <WHTE2K015C74a24LnK000001b3b@WHTE2K.mackie.com> Queued mail for delivery ^] telnet> quit Connection closed. What is broken when mail from the command line fails but SMTP commands work? Cheers, Sean |

Maillog says:
"Sorry_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(4.4.1)." On every outgoing message bound for a single domain. Cheers, Sean |
