Cool qmail help needed.

i am a qmail user and im facing some problems.
if i try creating a username@domain.com via qmailadmin page then it gives me an error.
" domain was not found in the assign file"
how do i add the domain along with a username and password on my server.

Are you using vpopmail? if so you can check out the utilities under /home/vpopmail/bin. There is one called vadddomain to add domains and you can specify the postmaster of the domain.

Althought the above way will work I would suggest getting vqadmin from www.inter7.com, the same place that make qmailadmin. vqadmin allows you to creates domains and change many other setting w/ a web based interface. (it actually uses the commands in /home/vpopmail/bin.

i tried installing vqadmin from http://www.qmailrocks.org/vqadmin.htm

and it worked like magic.
