Qmail-scanner installation help

Hi

I've my qmail server up and running for more than 1 year now.

I'm currently trying to install Qmail-Scanner to enable virus and anti-spamming features.

However, the Qmail-Scanner installation requires a patch to be done to the Qmail-queue.

My question is can the patch be done when the qmail has already been install and running? How do I go about doing the patching?

Appreciate any help and tips!
