Qmail sending but not receiving

Arrrgh I just had a long post and my log in session timed out.
I have spent the last week trying to figure this stuff out. Read all the posts here dealing with qmail and at the qmailrocks.org forum. Nothing so far that has been suggested has worked for me or it could it be me being ignorant I do not know.

Anyways running fedora core 2 trying to install qmail following qmailrocks tut. I have a dslmodem/router dmz'd to the smoothwall box. opening up the ports needed is done.

To start with when pinging tracert etc to my domain robierunner.com it reaches my public ip address.

When I setup my server I gave it a name of mail.robierunner.com. now is that right or should I have just set it as mail? in the hosts section the host shows up as mail.robierunner.com and alias robierunner.com is that right or should it be reversed? or should I have something else there?

next thing when installing qmail under ./config-fast I have it set as mail.robierunner.com is that correct as well?

i then edit the qmail-pop3d/run and qmail-smtpd/run files to mail.robierunner.com. That I am assuming is correct as well. According to the all the tuts I have read over so far.

Then I add this in:
echo '127.:allow,RELAYCLIENT=""' >> /etc/tcp.smtp
adding 192.168.10. in as well under a new line.

Uninstall sendmail according to the rpm instructions listed in the tut.

I am able to telnet in by localhost 110 and localhost 25. Mind is a little fried right now so I can't remember if I was able to do so under telnet mail.robierunner.com 110 and mail.robierunner.com 25.

Then on another computer setup in outlook under pop3 and smtp the private ip address of the server 192.168.5.2. I am unable to use mail.robierunner.com under the pop3 and smtp settings. It gives me an error when trying to send and receive using mail.robierunner.com but it will send emails out to my yahoo acct just fine if I put in the 192.168.5.2 settings. It will send and receive emails under different email accts I have setup under robierunner.com domain. But it will not receive an email from another domain such as my acct at yahoo.

On another computer on the lan I can telnet into it from the ip address but I can not remember if I can under mail.robierunner.com.

So the big question is why can I send email out but when I try to send email to an acct on robierunner.com from my yahoo account it comes up with this:
Remote host said: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed
rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

Can someone explain to me where my mistake is? I can not seem to find it even after reading some of the other sites for installing qmail and the steps basically seem to be the same with no mention of me having to do something else as far as I know.

I will post the qmail-showctl when I get home in the morning. Sorry such a long post but I am trying to be thorough as I can be at the moment except for the qmail-showctl file . I am also pretty new to the whole linux scheme of things. I find it very interesting and very frustrating as well .
