Qmail setup
Hi:
On my Linux 9.0/Apache 1.3.29 server box, I have successfully installed Qmail following the instructions on qmailrocks.com. Everything is installed, and I can get to the web vqadmin, and qmailadmin. My question is, how can I setup my domain name to receive mail? My domain is coopercentral.org, and I want my pop/smtp server, which is already configured in my DNS, to be pointed at mail.coopercentral.org. How can I do that? Also, when I installed Qmail, does it come with squirrel mail? Thanks for your help!! Ken Cooper

The files you need live in /path/to/Qmail/control
you need to edit the defaultdomain, locals, me, plusdomain & rcpthosts files. Don't forget to restart qmail afterwards. I have never used qmailadmin so I have no idea if/how you would change the settings using that. Cheers, Sean |
