Sending mail in Outlook 2003
Help!!! I have a machine running XP SP2 and Outlook 2003 connecting through SMTP to my ISP. Outlook will send mail
to most addresses but in certain cases it will not send mail messages. The messages move from outbox to sent items but they don't get to the recipient. |

I have the same system setup and the same problem! I noticed in the Outbox that only messages in italics are sent and delivered. Anything not in italics will sit there for all eternity!
I did find a workaround but it's a small pain... If I right click any mail in the Outbox that's not in italics and then choose 'Forward', a copy pops up, then I hit Send. You'll then see a dupe of the mail in Italics in the Outbox! Click Send and Recieve! It will send ok, then delete the one still in the Outbox. It works for me, but I know someone out there has a permanent fix. C'mon folks, put your thinking caps on. Good luck! 905 |
