Sendmail just doesn't catch it

Hello,
I got the following problem:
Sendmail does not receive any messages,
but it does work when I try sending it from the same machine.
Im using ZoneEdit and set up MyDomain.com is used for domain MyDomain.com. I did not had to configure any nameserver
for getting Apache, MySQL and my gamingserver to work but it seems I really need to do it now. I do not have any experience with it so I would love some help.

OS: Redhat 9.0 Release Shrike
Mailer: Sendmail
DNS: ZoneEdit / Named
Mail receiver: PHP Pipe for email script, works fine from localhost

Regards,
Frash

PS. Sendmail confused allways confused me, sendmail for a program that can receive and process mails?

Do you have any firewall? Show us the rulesets.
What is your REAL domain name? If you continue to use MyDomain.com as your domain name, don't come here anymore.

The real domain name is joesmx.com, its for a friend and offcourse I didnt used that in my config.
Also no firewall (call me stupid) is set up yet.

You don't need to open port 25 to send mails, but you do need to do that to receive mails.
I can't connect to port 25 of joesmx.com

and the A config

Do you think that could be the problem?

Make sure that the Addr option in the DAEMON_OPTIONS line of /etc/mail/sendmail.mc contains your external IP address rather than 127.0.0.1 - otherwise sendmail won't listen for incoming connections on your public IP address.

NB: After changing sendmail.mc you will need to rebuild the m4 file in accordance with the instructions at the top of sendmail.mc, and restart sendmail.
