server down.. email bounce back?
If email send to remote server. But remote server is not accessible (server down). For how long the server will try to send the email?
It will bounce back immediately? Thanks |

It all depends on how the local mail server program is setup.
Some server programs will bounce message right away, others will send a notice that the message has been delayed and that the server will be retrying to send it. |
