Exclamation Setting Up SMTP on IIS6.0 Problems

Hiya all,

I would like to use PHP's mail() function to access my own local SMTP server (running on IIS6.0 Windows 2003 Server) and get my SMTP server to route the email to smtp.mydomain.com; which is on my paid hosting and requires authentication.

I have searched around and read through lots of articles and how-to’s but I just can't seem to get it to work. I've even given IUSR_servername access to SMTP server.

Does anyone have any advice or a good step-by-step guide for me? I'm not total stupid but layman’s terms are always a failsafe option .

Thank you very much for your time,

- Brent Newbury
