Sharing outlook calendar
Hello Mates,
I want to share outlook calendar. I have shared my own calendar successfully. But now I want to configure another Exchange server user account's calendar so that we can use that calendar. I don't know how I can share that user's calendar though Exchange server management panel. Any tutorial link would be helpful as well.

A user can give permissions over his exchange mail in outlook. This works the same as you have shared it before in your outlook calendar...

If this is not what you need please report back and we can look for another option.

Thanks for the reply, mate. Most probably I couldn't explain my situation. I can share my own calendar and mail account. Now I have a user account on the Exchange server which hasn't been setup in Office outlook. Can I share that account's calendar from the server through Exchange server configuration panel? I haven't found any option yet. Only when I configure that account in outlook, then I can configure to share that calendar otherwise not. Any work arounds? Thank you.

Hi mate this is what I found:

Creating Calendar

Calendars are just Exchange mailboxes which are created in the SCCS\Conference Rooms folder in Active Directory. Permissions on the calendar are set through Global Security groups.

Once the calendar is created you can proceed to the next step to assign mailbox permissions to Exchange Calendar Administrators.

You need to add it as a WIN entry to RES and you need to put the Owner's Person ID (usually Teresa's) into Custom Attribute 1 in Active Directory.

Don't have exchange on hand so couldn't test... if this is what you need and it works please let us hear!
