Squirrel Mail producing fatal errors
Hello All,
I wanted to know if anyone could help me with the fatal erros I am getting with Squirrel Mail. I was using Squirrel Mail on RedHat linux 7.3 on a 32bit system running dual Xeon Processors and it was working great with no problems. I upgrade to a 64bit server running quad opteron processors and RedHat Advanced Server 3.0 and now everytime I log into squirrel as any user I am getting fatal errors to any tool/link I click on within squirrel mail. I get something like this but its not limited...I get it for everything..even trying to compose: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4097 bytes) in /var/www/html/squirrelmail-1.4.3a/functions/imap_general.php on line 88 Any ideas? Could it be that Squirrel is not compatible with a 64bit system? Or could it be that there is something on php I need to set? |

You could try setting the PHP File limit higher than 8mb.
Try setting it to 16MB, restart apache and see if the same problem exsists. If so, as a last attempt set the file limit ot 128mb and then try again, or just try that to start with. Think there might be some issues setting the file limit that high, but just keep going til it works. If it dont, then there must be some in-compatability with SquirrelMail and the 64bit system. HTH PHP Code:
