Unable to receive POP3 email (0x80042108)
Background
IP: just switched to static IPs
router: Netopia 3546 installed when static IPs received
firewall: Netopia default
pinholes: SMTP and POP3
email server: MailMax
SMTP: OK, can telnet to domain on port 25
POP3: OK, can telnet to domain on port 110
Netstat: shows both ports as LISTENING
NortonAV: Removed
send email: OK
receive email: see error below
Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
