vpopmail mail directory
Hi,
this might be a stupid question but.. I am using Qmail (as per the qmailrocks.org installation) and all is working perfectly however - the mail is being delivered to /home/vpopmail/domains/domain.com.au/username/Maildir/new which is REALLY annoying as I cannot check through webmin (which needs /var/spool/mail). I have searched high and low how to fix this - but no good. Does ANYONE have an idea how to point mail as Sendmail used to - /var/spool/mail/username ? thanks Steve |

I wouldn't try to change the way vpopmail does its job. Probably better to try making your webmin look somewhere other than var/spool/mail.
Seems like there would be a better way to check your mail rather than using webmin. There are a LOT of mail clients out there. Webmin (i think) is really just a last-resort way to check mail... like if you have no other possible way. What i mean is... Webmin wasn't trying to be a mail reader... I think Webmin was just trying to cover all the bases so you can do virtually anything with your server via the webmin interface. Webmin does a lot of nice things, but some things are handled better by other applications. |
