Wierd msg in Qmail log

What is this? I have 15 .s files in my log folder, each 96k in size and all of them filled with this on every line. Also, I am getting error messages for stuff I DIDN'T SEND!

Am I showing an open relay by chance? Anyone have any Idea of what is going on?

Frog.

P.S. I thought I closed down my system, but I do retrieve my mail remotely from work.

follow-up

Ok,
So I did a little research and while I am still worried about being an open relay, I have determined that the source of the problem is a runaway supervisor process in my QMAIL. The docs that I found say that this maybe a mis-configuration in my smtp-send script.

I will investigate that, but the answer to the problem seemed to be to reboot. I've done that, and this is a grep of my running qmail processes, can anyone see anything out of the ordinary?

thanks for your help:

You haven't provided us with any example log file entries to explain why you're upset. There may be a perfectly normal explanation for this; perhaps a spammer sent mail to a non-existant account on your server, and your server sent a bounce message to the spammer.

How did you reach this conclusion? What do you mean by "runaway"?

There's no such script. qmail-send and qmail-smtpd are two separate programs, invoked by two separate run scripts under supervise. Which one are you experiencing problems with? Without a copy of the script in question, no-one can help you solve any problems that might exist with it. Please provide an in-depth description of the problem that you are experiencing.

No, your ps output looks normal. There seem to be the correct number of supervise processes running (unless the "runaway supervisor process" is running something that doesn't have qmail in its name).
