    My srv requires authentication

    Dear,

I have problem with email provider.

We are using provider email server for email accounts.

    domain: beotel.net

Soon they installed "something" and instruct users to check box in email clients my server requires authentication.

After this email is working normal, but sometimes when we leave office users cannot send emails, sometimes they can.

What is this check box actually for? Is it use some other port then 25 for sending emails? what could be the problem?

How can I test the network where I am in this momement is this network ready for this kind of service?

    Thanks in advance!

You'll have to figure out what changes between the 'sometimes' that work and don't work.

Checking 'my server requires authentication' forces your email program to provide a username/password to the outgoing mail server.

Most mail providers and the required options is the set
Tick and the" incoming mail server using the same settings. "

E-mail vendor selection to decide what is right, every day can be implemented
Mail server, so you have to go to the instructions on their website
    To verify the correct settings.

It's likely that some internet providers at hotels block the smtp port and others don't. If the isp blocks port 25 you could try configuring an alternate smtp port in your smtp server.
