First of all let me say that I know nothing about programming mobile devices or how the code is executed in them. I am familiar with C++, C# and VB however.

The question is this. I have a new HP Ipaq with a certain app on it. Whoever wrote the app didn't do enough testing on it so there is an issue with screen redraw. Basically some of the buttons in the program don't get redrawn unless you tap on them as well among other things.

Are there apps out there that would run in the background and basically call out a screen redraw function every second to redraw the screen? Is that even possible to do? I don't have access to the source code so I can't change anything within the program itself so I need a backdoor solution.

Also, I should mention that this app worked perfectly on older version of Windows Mobile.
