SMS - AT Commands

Hello All,

i recently learned that you could send an sms from a computer if you plug in a mobile with a SIM card...

i triedthis for a few days

broke my head with it
and finally got it working today

i struggled so much because this was new to me
and i have lots of web site building knowledge (HTML + CSS + PHP + MySQL + Java)

so i decided to write a API for this like a sort of GUI
i am good at Java so could you tell me instructions in java's perspective?
i am going to need to open a connection with my com port #7 and communicate using AT commands with it

and later i can easily design a Web GUI...no i want an application

Working with the AT commands can be interesting and complex.

Not sure what it is you want help with.
The AT commands is the API for the GSM comminucation.
