XHTMLMP - Colored WAP Page

Hello everyone, i am knew to this WAP programming my query is: how to add colores in WML page so that it looks good and colorfull?

With WML you cannot.
With XHTML MP or HTML Basic you can - it is essentially the same as HTML.

As told by you i created the page with extension .xhtmlmp, but when i run this page on WinWap SmartPhone Browser Emulator it says "No wml contents in this page". how to over come from this situation.

Eh, put some WML content in it.
That emulator only supports WML up to 1.3,
XHTML emulation you will need another tool..

Additionally, using a .xhtml extension may need some server configuration to actually serve the correct content type...

I have created the xhtml page with wml contents, but due to the lack of emulator not supporting it , it does not show and give the error saying "No WML Contents". When i run this page on mobile browser it displays there.

I have Opera Web borwser, can i test my xhtml pages on that( if it runs fine and look great there then i will test it on mobile.)?

WML and XHTML are not interchangeable - they are separate mark-up languages,
that may have similarities, but you cannot pick and mix what you want.

Opera is fine for basic XHTML OR WML checking -
you can at least validate your mark-up.

Chose another emulator if that one are using is not suitable,
there many free ones out there... See the Resources thread for more.

Yes, i agree that these two are separate markup languages with having their own properties.now i have to check emulater with higher version for linux machine now(previously i m testing it on window machine).

Is it possible to add left soft key and right soft key functions while using XHTML? if "YES" , how we do it.

If "No" , then what should we follow to achieve it?

I want to do the following:-

There is a colored page having fields like username, password and a submit button. And there is a list of events that will occured at left and right key pressed. when right key pressed the list of events that will come are Change Password, Forgot password and on left key pressed there is only one event will come ie Exit.

how do i achieve this in WAP not J2ME.

plz guide me as soon as possible.

i have cerated an array who will contains the list of my messages on servlet .

i want to display the list on wap page, tell which page should i follow:-

wml
xhtml
jsp

to display the list.

note:- i tried this on jsp but this page is not opened on mobile browser.
