Cross-platform mobile file download?
Hello Everyone,
I just started to digg into HTML5/jQuery and I wonder if there is a way to implement file download on mobile phones. Of course this download should not be initialized automatically. The project is about a small website for local musicians. Users should be able to browse/preview songs, and download the MP3-files, if they like a song.
Can this be implemented? Will I need something like Sencha or Phonegap for this, or is it not possible at all and all file downloads on iOS, Android, WebOS etc. have to be done manually via syncing with iTunes etc.?
